Background:

Personal Information:
Frank is married to Nana Konadu-Ofori and currently lives in Peachtree City.
Frank enjoys reading, watching Tom & Jerry, western movies, and making
people happy and chilling, when he is not at work.
Philosophy on the Game:
Have fun & be happy – this is my life philosophy and I would like to pass
that on to all my students. Frank works with all levels of tennis athletes,
beginners, advanced, women, etc.
Fun Fact about Frank:
In 1997 Frank was the Tennis Professional at Joseph Henriquez School of
Tennis. In 1998, he became the Head Pro at David Lloyd Leisure (U.K). Frank
has organized tennis clinics and tournaments for underprivileged youth in
Ghana. He also organizes a yearly charity event at the Peachtree City Tennis
Center to support kids in Ghana.
Professional Distinctions:
My dedication and devotion to my country lead Ghana to name their Center
Court at the National Sports Stadium in my honor, the “Frank Ofori Center
Court”.
Frank was Ranked #1 as a junior in his home country of Ghana, Africa from
age 14-18. He had the highest Junior International Tennis Foundation world
ranking of #70. During that time he played in the Wimbledon and US Open
junior main draw events reaching the second round of Wimbledon. In 1989, he
played the Orange Bowl singles and doubles, reaching the semi-finals of
doubles.
The International Tennis Foundation gave Frank a one-year scholarship to the
John Newcomb Tennis Academy in Texas. He received a college scholarship to
California Baptist University, which was an NAIA school at the time, where
he played #1 singles and doubles. Frank was voted "Best Player" in the NAIA
- and was named a two time All American after reaching a ranking of #2 in
the country.
In 2004, he was named the youngest person in the Ghana Sportsperson Hall of
Fame. After playing college tennis for two years Frank turned professional.
In 2007, Frank was inducted to the school’s and the city’s (Riverside) Hall
of Fame. He played on the ATP tour for five years reaching a career high
singles ranking of #275 and doubles #150. He also played the US Open and
Wimbledon Qualifying tournament.
Frank has received the Ghana Tennis Certificate, Tennis Ireland Coaching
Certification, and United States Professional Tennis Association.
Career Highlights for Frank have been winning the Younes El Aynaoui (former
top 20 player). He was a practice partner for Jimmy Connors, Pat Cash and
Hichan Arazi and a Davis Cup player for Ghana for fourteen years where he
played #1 singles for thirteen of those years. He has won four International
Doubles Tournaments in Ireland and England with Ben Maes.
